John Harvey moved from Austin, Texas to join TechBridge in September 2008 as a Network Engineer. He has over 8 years of experience helping non-profit organizations of various sizes solve computer-related issues, including the last three years focused on his own small business as a technical consultant specializing in desktop, network and server support.
John got his start in technical support while working for a social services agency as a case manager resettling political refugees. Since then he has enjoyed working closely with all levels of users, management and administration to ensure solid IT integration with an agency’s mission and goals. His knowledge of technologies include Microsoft OS and applications, Apple Symantec products, and various hardware vendors such as Dell, HP, and IBM. He has a B.A. in English from the UT Austin and holds Comptia and Microsoft certifications.
