More Than Just a Pretty (inter)Face
... increases coordination, communications and donations
The Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS), a local nonprofit organization, faced two common business issues found in many companies and organizations.
First, they had the difficult task of communicating diverse information to multiple target audiences. They provide over 40 diverse programs ranging from adoption to elder care with limited manpower.
Secondly, they needed to upgrade their look and feel" and increase their branding throughout all of their communications.
The New Site - www.jfcs-atlanta.org
TechBridge, working closely with JF&CS, designed and developed a new website that reflects the JF&CS mission statement. Techbridge also gave them the ability to update the website themselves a key issue facing nonprofits in providing timely, cost-effective website communications.
I am pleased to report that feedback from the new web site has been overwhelmingly positive," says Rick Aranson, Chief Operating Officer, Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta. In addition, we have begun to generate funds through the site's e-commerce initiatives. We hope to explore a digital marketing initiative in conjunction with the efforts of the marketing department within the next few months.
The organization will continue to expand its already diverse services and reach into the community and is interested in using the web to support that growth more efficiently.
Additional Benefits
Generated new donor revenues with the e-commerce component; this shopping cart feature allows the capability to accept donations and contributions online.
Drove costs down for current donation and event processes through the use of the new calendar of events for all major programs and for the organization overall. People can also pay for events online.
Drove operating efficiencies and cultural change within JF&CS through access and use of web technologies.
Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS) is a non-profit, non-sectarian, life-centered human services agency that manages over 40 diverse programs ranging from adoption to elder care. Jewish Family & Career Services' dual mission is to strengthen the Jewish family in all of its contemporary forms and lifestyles and to advocate for social changes that will strengthen all families.
