When you contact CFY, please be prepared with equipment details (model, number of items etc.). This will help CFY assess whether their organization can use the computer/equipment in their program. Items can be dropped at their facility at no charge or pick-ups can be arranged at a nominal charge.

Tommy Nobis Center (TNC) is a nonprofit that
develops and provides job training and employment
services for youth and adults with disabilities and other
barriers to employment.
TNC accepts a variety of electronics at no charge: computer monitors (no charge with other electronics), microwaves, computers, CPUs, stereos, toasters, laptops, copiers, printers, VCRs, alarm clocks, remote controls, mp3 players, disk drives, can openers, camcorders, floppy drives, speakers, cameras, modems, mouse, cd players, fax machines and more. Also accepts TVs (CRT) and old monitors for a small cash processing fee ($10 for one, $15 for two, $20 for three, $5 each above three).
TNC does not accept:
refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, freezers, humidifiers, power equipment, tires, household trash, non-electronic equipment.

Touch the Future (TTF) is a nonprofit that provides affordable computer and assistive technology access to individuals in the disabled and underserved communities, as well as seniors.
TTF's ReBoot program is a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher and acquires donated computer equipment and other assistive technology, evaluates and repairs, loads licensed software, and distributes to people with disabilities, seniors, and underserved communities - all while providing invaluable training opportunities. ReBoot is in need of computers, speakers, and specialized productivity, assistive technology and learning software for both children and adults.
