CTS partners with TechBridge to streamline logistics for Digital Ball |
(Atlanta) May 1, 2010 - Computer Technology Solutions, Inc. (CTS), a leader in world-class technology services, partners with TechBridge to streamline logistics for the 10th annual Digital Ball. The TechBridge Digital Ball celebrates the spirit of philanthropy in the Atlanta technology community. Funds raised from the Digital Ball support technology services that TechBridge provides to area nonprofits. Leveraging the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 platform, CTS developed a software solution to automate data capture for sponsors, event hosts, volunteers, and Technology Innovation Award applicants. The data then powered lists, workflows and document management, centralizing efforts and enabling coordinators to concentrate on fundraising efforts. “Each year as the Digital Ball, grew in size, so too did the complexity of gathering the data needed to sign up sponsors, event hosts, and volunteers and to collect nomination forms for our annual nonprofit award”, says Carrie Bates, Director of Corporate Relations, TechBridge. “CTS volunteered their time and expertise to automate these processes with SharePoint. We now have simple online forms that gather all needed data up front and store information in one place that everyone can access. The time savings have been significant – we’re now operating as the efficient nonprofit our stakeholders expect us to be.” About CTS About TechBridge |
