Heritage Sandy Springs Launches New Festival Web Site |
Sandy Springs, GA - August 9, 2010. Heritage Sandy Springs is pleased to announce the launch of our new and improved Sandy Springs Festival Web site www.sandyspringsfestival.com. With the help of TechBridge, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization whose mission is to help other nonprofits use technology to increase capacity to serve the community, Heritage Sandy Springs was fortunate enough to work with web developer and TechBridge volunteer, Paul Srch, to complete the site. Srch is the CEO and Technology Specialist for SiteOne Internet. Enhancements to the site include user-friendly registration to the annual Kiwanis Pet Parade and Doug Kessler Lightning 10K Race, vendor applications, and a volunteer sign-up form. Other improvements include a list of featured entertainment, frequently asked questions and an updated photo gallery. By adding credit card processing software, the upgraded site also enables online visitors and members an easy and secure way to become one of our valued “Friends of the Festival.” Proceeds from the Sandy Springs Festival are used by Heritage Sandy Springs to maintain the historic site, organize educational programs, present the summer concert series free to the public, host Ghostly Gathering and continue to protect and enhance Heritage Green. From the Home page, visitors have the ability to access recent press releases and logos, as well as locate us on social media sites such as Facebook. In addition to the site’s many new technical features, the graphic design and updated content have improved the site’s navigation, making it more informative and user-friendly. Heritage Sandy Springs will continue to update the site in the coming weeks leading up to the Festival. Visit us at www.sandyspringsfestival.com, and let us know what you think of our new look!
