2012 TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION AWARD
At Digital Ball® 2012, Accenture announced the winner of the 2012 TechBridge Technology Innovation Award:
Founded in 1984, the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women & Children is a daytime resource center and safe refuge for homeless women and children. Its mission is to restore hope and selt-esteem in its guests by providing the tools they need to overcome their homeless situation and regain self-sufficiency.
Atlanta Day Shelter seeks a database overhaul and redesign enabling the Shelter to better serve its guests, report on their needs and successes, and track and monitor its programs, resulting in the more appropriate allocation of staff time and Shelter finances. Learn more at www.atlantadayshelter.org.
We also congratulate our two finalists:
Genesis Shelter's mission is to provide a comprehensive array of services to enable homeless newborns and their families to achieve positive live outcomes for this generation and those to come. Genesis is the only organization in Atlanta specifically serving homeless newborn babies and their families.
Genesis is looking to streamline its agency computing processes by converting to a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure accessed through the Genesis server, which will ensure viability of and access to agency and client data. Learn more at www.genesisanewlife.org.
Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta (JF&CS)is a nonsectarian, community-based social services agency that provides health, career and human services to support and enhance the well-being of individuals and families across all ages, faiths, cultures and lifestyles. JF&CS' Ben Massell Dental Clinic (BMDC), since 1929, has provided no-cost comprehensive dental care to thousands of uninsured, unemployed or underemployed Atlantans.
JF&CS proposes to implement an Inventory Management System at the BMDC, increasing efficiency and allowing a focus of financial and personnel resources on the founding mission for the Clinic - serving Atlantans in need. Learn more at www.yourtoolsforliving.org.
